You can enable automatic top-up of print credit. (Enable and disable automatic top-up of print credit)
You can always disable the automatic top-up. Then, you can request to refund the remaining private credit. (Request a print credit refund in the TU/e print portal,Request a print credit refund in the TU/e print portal).
The four steps of automatic top-up
Step 1. You select a minimal top-up amount while enabling automatic top-up.
Step 2. You pay the selected minimal top-up amount once while enabling automatic top-up. You also issue an authorization to automatically top up your private credit.
Step 3. At the end of every day, your remaining print credit is being checked.
Step 4. When your print credit is less than 1 euro (at the end of the day) the print credit is automatically topped up. Your new print credit becomes 3 euro or more. The amount is being debited from your bank account.
Important: The amount that is used to top up your print credit depends on your current print credit and your chosen minimal top-up amount.
Example:
Mike enables automatic top-up on Monday. He prints on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Monday
Mike selects 4 euro as minimal top-up amount.
Mike print credit was 1.10 euro and becomes 5.10 euro.
Tuesday
After printing, the print credit (at the end of the day) is 4.10 euro.
The print credit is higher than 1 euro. There is no automatic top-up.
Wednesday
After printing, the print credit (at the end of the day) is 0.90 euro.
The print credit is lower than 1 euro. The minimal top-up amount Mike has selected (4 euro) will used to top up. Now the new print credit is 4.90 euro.
Thursday
After printing, the print credit (at the end of the day) is -1.10 euro.
The print credit is lower than 1 euro. When the minimal top-up amount Mike has selected (4 euro) is used, the new print credit is lower than 3 euro. So, the top-up amount on Thursday is 4.10 euro. Now the new print credit is 3 euro.
